Payment links are valid for up to 2 -5 days. But once any processing starts, for example end user enter their phone number or payment information, the respective link cannot be reused except for that transaction in transition

Payment statuses

Within the MyXspend platform there are a number of payment statuses, these are as follows:

  • PENDING: payment link generated but no payment attempted
  • INPROCESS: End user started the payment process
  • FAILED: payment attempted but failed
  • EXPIRED: payment link expired (2-48 hours)
  • SUCCESSFUL: payment completed successfully
  • REFUNDED: payment refunded
  • UNDERPAID: payment made by end user is less than original amount in the payment request
